INDIRECT STRATEGIC BUYER

Workplace: Ózd

Main tasks:

• Strategic purchasing projects such as Supplier change, localization, benchmarking, etc.
• Procurement of indirect materials (operating requirements, consumables, investments and services)
• Maintenance of the required master data in the SAP-system
• Contract management
• Direct exchange with main interfaces such as logistics, facility, maintenance, global category mgt, project procurement, production planning, operational purchasing, quality mgt, etc.
• Monitor price deviations and clarify with suppliers
• Find the best suppliers based on TCO calculation
• Lead indirect purchasing activities on plant level
• Carry out Request for quotations
• Develop and harmonize indirect sourcing processes
• Carry out and coordinate supplier evaluations and assessments under consideration of the group demand
• External contacts : Suppliers, freight forwarders, service providers, subcontractors

Responsibility:

• Supplier management
• Evaluate, build up and develop new suppliers
• Manage indirect procurement for Hungarian Plant
• Monitoring of price development
• Tracking of the defined KPIs for Hungarian Plant
• Contract management

Competencies/requirements for the job holder:

• Technical and/or commercial education or further education in purchasing
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement
• Good knowledge of supplier market in Hungarian region is an advantage
• Good English skills in spoken and written
• Experienced MS Office skills and SAP knowledge as a plus
• Analytic and economic thinking
• Communication skills and a sense of responsibility
• Good knowledge concerning negotiations
• Procurement according to signature regulation
• Ownership mindset
